Job Description

Gardener – Estates OperativeReed Coventry are working closely with a Housing Association in Birmingham to appoint an experienced Gardener / Estates Operative to join during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted Social Housing providers.Responsibilities

Contribute to creating a pleasant outdoor space
Enhancing residents well-being
Tree management
Managing green infrastructure within Social Housing communities
Landscape management

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

NVQ Level 2 Minimum in relevant field is desirable
Must be numerate and literate
Knowledge and experience Grounds Maintenance, Gardening, Landscaping and Maintenance
Be comfortable to work around residents (must be professional at all times)
Past experience of working in Social Housing
High level of customer service
Knowledge of Health & Safety including lifting safely; working at heights and the use of PPE
Able to use digital devices
Able to use electronic and ride-on gardening equipment
Current and clean UK Driving License
Ability to work flexible hours
PA1, PA6 and banksman experience is desirable
Basic DBS – application will be completed by our Client
