Job Description

Our innovative Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) business unit are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.   • Financial and commercial process including the management of budgets, cost and forecasting
  • Commercial management and contract administration including supply chain procurement and management
  • Planning and monitoring works using programmes
  • Cost Planning and pre-contract cost control
  • Project/commercial management reporting
  • Recording works progress and assessing the effects of delay, prolongation, and disruption
  • Bills of quantities, schedules of rates and activity schedules
  • Management of interim and financial accounts.
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have worked on ITSFrameworks, andprojects covering street lighting, traffic signals and roadside technology. The position holder will ensure that all the commercial matters of a project, including, procurement, risk, cost,and value reporting, forecasting as well as contractual matters are managed effectively and efficiently.
