Colas Ltd has been awarded the 8-year Maintenance and Response contract for Area 9 by National Highways. Worth £328m the contract covers the Strategic Road Network within Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire as well asparts of Gloucestershire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.Across a total lane length of around 3,760 km of motorway and trunk roads, Colas will deliver cyclical maintenance, reactive maintenance, incident response, severe weather response and minor works in a region that has five strategically critical motorwayinterchange junctions as well as being at the heart of the new HS2 network and where Colas has a long-established base.Colas are looking to hire a Performance Analyst to focus on servicing the highwayssector with workcovering the collaborative performance framework. The position will report to the Quality & Performance Manager. This is a full-time and permanent opportunitybased in Birmingham. The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is likely to be someone with experience of thecollaborative performance framework as well asperformance data analysis in the highwayssector. The candidate is also likely tohave an understanding ofaudit and contract performance.
