This global Fintech corporate specialises in providing its worldwide customer base with industry leading technology systems, software & solutions.Now requiring an additional Engineer to strengthen their internal Managed Service Infrastructure team, this Infrastructure Engineer will be joining a team dedicated to ensuring their colleagues enjoy modern, robust & reliable computing services across the businessat all times.The Infrastructure Engineer will have the option to work from their office in Solihull,work a hybrid week split between the office and home, or can work fully remotely if preferred!The Infrastructure Engineer will work across Virtualisation, Cloud Platforms and the usual Windows Server applications, and will need to be comfortable working as part of a virtual team. Good communication skills and the drive to get things done are essentialattributes that work well in this busy environment.The Infrastructure Engineer will be joining a team of colleagues, passionate in delivering a superb IT service to the Business Units.Each member of the team enjoys a personal learning & development plan that provides the frameworks and development solutions to ensure everyone has the opportunity to maximise their professional performance and realise their full potential.Responsibilities Will Include:Working with a variety of hardware, software and applications to provide a prompt, friendly and professional service to our IT users in relation to systems administration, documentation & testing.Planning and installation of new hardware, monitoring system uptime, ensuring high availability, resolving complex client related problems and designing and implementing all data centre and internal hosted computer systems.Responsible for all functions relating to the installation, configuration and operation of the hosting infrastructure.Identifying system configuration and/or performance irregularities. Developing procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner.Documenting and improving existing processes and procedures.Serving as a technical resource by providing support to multiple projects and business units.Preferred Skills & Experience:Windows Servers including Active Directory, GPO, ADFS, Domains, Permission Models, and moreVirtualisationVMware up to 6.5 ideally including implementation, administration and migrationCitrix XenApp 7.6+MS Exchange ideally up to 2016NetApp - 3PAR storage covering implementation, administration and migrationSCCM, SolarWinds and WSUSCylance, McAfee and TrendMicro for Security and Anti-virusInterested Candidates seeking a quality employer with interesting & challenging work should apply now and can expect initial feedback on their application within 72 hours.
