Job Description

Colas HR team are based at head office in Solihull, Birmingham and support the business nationwide with all HR administration, Learning and Development, HR Business Partnering and Recruitment. Were looking for an HR Systems Administrator to join our friendlyteam - youll work as part of a team of 4 administrators who support with documenting the employee journey, however, this role will be more systems/reporting based and mentored by the HR Systems Manager. Its not essential to have previous systems/reportingexperience, but you must have a keen interest in a future career within this niche. Its a varied role where youll work with multiple different departments, like resourcing and payroll for example, to ensure everything is documented and inorder. Youll be asked to pull bespoke data and reports for key stakeholders and support with maintaining our HR systems with up-to-date employee data. This is a role where attention to detail is key, so were looking for a candidate who will take a real senseof pride in their work and can work to challenging deadlines. The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar administrative position (ideally HR) with a strong interest in pursuing a systems/reporting type career. Youll have a keen eye for attention to detail with superb communicationskills both written and verbal. Youll ideally have a CIPD qualification or alternatively be open to upskilling/studying alongside your day job (funded by Colas). Finally, youll be able to commute to Birmingham Business Park (B37) and be reliable, punctualand committed to pursuing a long-term career within HR.
