Role Summary: Arch Business Consultancy and Management Services Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a hard-working and self-motivated finance assistant to work in a small, newly set up finance department. As a finance assistant you will be liaising with management on day-to-day administration and bookkeeping duties of Arch Business Consultancy and Management Services Ltd and related client businesses.Job Responsibilities:· Processing sales, purchases and expense invoices on accounting system· Bank reconciliation· Recording and reconciling multicurrency transactions· Monitoring age payables/receivables and resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices· Gathering purchase/expense invoices from different online supplier accounts and team managers· Scanning and filing documents (including invoices) on day-to-day basis· Assisting directors and other colleagues with ad hoc task· Organising and managing accounting recordsCompetencies and Skills:. Xero experience (essential). Min AAT qualified· Good knowledge of VAT rules· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word· Strong communication skills both verbally and written (essential)· Strong organisational skills with a flexible approach and can-do’ attitude· Demonstrates an ability to establish priorities and react quickly and professionally· Good attention to detail and accuracy· Excellent numeracy and financial awareness Required skills
