Job Description

Full Time 37.5 hours Would you like to work for a progressive and ambitious company which is also one of the most successful within the UK construction industryIf so, we’ve a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitions and talented Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join us in Thames Valley and the Midlands (Predominately the Midlands Office).About the RoleJoining our passionate and dedicated existing supply chain team you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain Local Supply Chain (LSC) & Coins databases in line with business unit supply chain intel
  • Issue and control new PQQ subcontractor requests with close liaison with Supply Chain Manager (SCM)
  • Analyse Monthly LSC Performance Scoring and produce league tables
  • Subcontractor Profile Documents to be re-issued and updated for each business unit.
  • Assist in the timely return of Supply Chain Rebate Forms to the Hub.
  • Co-ordinate and administer Supply chain events with the SCM
  • Co-ordinate B2B meetings with the SCM/Supply chain
  • Assist in pre-construction with detailed supply chain strategies for tenders with the SCM
  • Assist in Social value interaction with the supply chain for the SCM
  • Support with regional and national Framework KPI’s relevant to supply chain
  • Support supply chain on how to use Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Academy
About YouWith a proven and successful track record in a Supply Chain, you’ll be educated to degree level and ideally have experience of working with the construction industry. You’ll have a strong commercial awareness and acumen, along with excellent communicationskills, a real team player.
