    • Our client has built patented video SaaS technology used globally in demanding, risk-conscious sectors including claims, insurance, and compliance. They started out as a group of serial entrepreneurs, tech experts, academics and coders - with an idea for mobile technology that is a game-changer. Underpinning every part of the business is absolute data security, with some of the biggest names in the insurance, facilities management, security, and infrastructure trusting them to handle hundreds of thousands of videos and images every month.They are seeking a successful, ambitious, and committed IT Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for customer enquiries. Youll take ownership of issues and aim to resolve these issues as quickly as possible; communicating effectively with both internal teams and customers. You will use your interest and knowledge in IT to help install and configure hardware, software, and various applications. To ensure software is performing you will monitor and maintain systems and networks. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1+ year experience within a Technical / IT Support role or someone who has completed an industry placement and is looking for their first role post university.   • Front line first point of contact for support enquiries by phone and email
  • Ownership of issues, carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible
  • Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system, responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Install, upgrade, configure and support new and existing computer hardware, operating systems and applications
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
    • Skills and Experience - IT Support Engineer
  • Previous experience in IT support (ideally 1+ years or could be a university placement) in a role providing services to external customers
  • Educated to at least A level or equivalent
  • Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate documentation and job notes
  • Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows Server and preferably Virtual environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to articulate at a technical level appropriate to the circumstances - e.g. for clients with varying levels of IT knowledge & competence
  • MSSQL querying skill advantageous but not essential
    • SQL / IT Support / 1st line support / Helpdesk Support / Technical Support
