Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a dynamic global manufacturing business that are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their site just outside of Bradford. The business supply high performance solutions to nearlyevery industry and have a strong international presence with 11 operational units Worldwide.Reporting into the Global Quality Manager, this role will lead Quality Assurance activities across the site in West Yorkshire, managing change and delivering improved business performance in line with the Site objectives & Group Vision. As part of the seniormanagement team the Quality Manager will help define the direction and success of this manufacturing business unit.As Quality Manager, duties & responsibilities include:* Responsibility to maintain, audit and develop the company Management Systems for Quality to ISO9001, by producing relevant data, reporting on performance and measuring against set standard to ensure full compliance.* Liaise with Managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure the Quality Management System is functioning as it should. Where appropriate, advise on changes and how to implement them by providing training, tools and techniques to enable others toachieve set quality standards* Maintain, improve and drive shop floor processes by promoting and enforcing compliance with the Quality Management System; structured to ensure that the companys products and services meet high quality standards.* Lead and facilitate investigations on quality concerns raised by customers or within the organisation to ensure that we produce quality products, to specification, on time.* Ensure audits, supplier, internal and 3rd party, are maintained and reported on to ensure product and process conformity.* Develop a Risk based approach to Customer requirements and specifications, mitigate the Risk where able & appropriate* Build a quality, customer focused ethos promoting right first time, can do culture within the Production teams.Im keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:* Engineering Degree or Qualified Mechanical Engineer* Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment* Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor* Extensive knowledge and experience of setting up ISO 9001* Management skills, delegation, leadership, decisiveness
