Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our long established and expanding Accountancy Practice based near Bingley, West Yorkshire.Job Role and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational and time management skills, with experience working successfully in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent communication skills. Practice experience is a must as the role will involveworking on a wide range of clients across multiple bookkeeing systems (Sage 50c and Xero being the most widely used).The role will involve preparation of monthly and quarterly bookeeping, including preparation of VAT Returns and dealing with CIS submissions. The role will also include:

Advising and training clients on systems including Sage 50c and Xero
Preparation of bookkeeping to a Trial Balance stage
Assisting with the development of junior members of the team
Supporting the Partners with work such as Projections and Management Accounts

Candidate Requirements

Must have minimum of three years experience in a Practice environment
AAT qualified would be advantageous but not a requirement if qualified by experience
Excellent initiative and organisational skills with ambition for further development
Sage 50c and Xero experience
