Job Description

This is a high-profile role managing and co-ordinating the stock control process for our ecommerce and mail order business. You will quickly and easily build relationships across both the local and international business units to deliver common strategies,translating plans and initiatives to meet customer and supply chain business needs.Client DetailsA great opportunity for a Merchandise Manager to join a clothing business who sell their products to over 10 million customers globally. The business sells multi product ladies, mens & homeware. They are driven by putting their customerfirst by offering excellent customer service. Due to mat cover the business is looking for someone to join on FTC for 12 months.Description

  • Control the order budget( OTB) within given parameters and highlight any changes to plan: take remedial action when necessary to manage spend.
  • Produce and analyse data from the Merchandise Team ensuring forecasts are reviewed against stock levels and purchase orders are placed to optimise service levels and stock.
  • Produce and co-ordinate reports and presentations to share with the Head of Merchandise on all agreed supply chain KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Identify areas of opportunity working with the Merchandise Team to improve service levels and identify problem styles / take action to ensure service risk is kept to a minimum.
  • Lead and develop the Inbound Team.
Profile
  • Previous experience and expertise in a stock management / merchandise role is essential.
  • Also, having the ability to work as a team player and use your initiative, whilst being confident enough to question, challenge and provide solutions.
  • Intermediate / advanced level of Excel is also essential.
