Job Description

Solutions Engineer - Highways£45,00 per annumBilstonAs a Solutions Engineer in the Technical and Engineering Team, youll engage with various customers, providing product implementation details and project support. Youll guide the Engineering Team on product compliance, assist in preparing technical drawings,and contribute to technical documentation. Knowledge of DMRB standards and highways practices is essential, and experience in a highways design organisation is beneficial. Strong technical understanding, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work independentlyin a fast-paced environment are required.Main Duties:

To understand and interpret VRS requirements, standard and specifications
To assist with the assessment and to ensure compliance of scheme specific VRS requirements
To produce relevant scheme layout drawings in 2D / 3D CAD
To support the wider business, namely Sales, Contracts, Operations and Production Teams, with technical documentation in a timely
To liaise with the Client to obtain any additional information as required
Must show both commercial and technical awareness in selection of the most appropriate VRS solution
May be required to go to sites or clients places of work to discuss projects, take site measurements and obtain working details.
To assist with technical enquiries with the support and assistance from your Line Manager
Must be able to read and understand manufacturing drawings and identify and rectify any missing information.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
Highways experience is essential
Knowledge of DMRB standards and associated guidance
Proficient in AutoCAD - Ideally Inventor & Vault
