Do you have production planning skills with people management experience and excellent Excel skills from an FMCG background We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planning Manager to join a well established food processing company based in Bilston in the West Midlands!This is a permanent role with a salary of £40-45k per annum working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Benefits include 28 days annual leave, retail discount platform, free parking and access to the staff shop!As Production Planning Manager you will report into the Senior Planning Manager with responsibility for managing the planning department which consists of 2 Data Analysts and a Production Planner. Your main objective is to accurately plan andforecast all production planning requirements for the business with volumes up to 850,000 items per week!In detail, you will monitor planning, inventory and production schedules, accurately forecasting and planning service to facilitate the management of production, demand and supply requirements. You will create plans from processing through to finished goods,storage and dispatch ensuring optimum use of raw materials. Generating reports, reviewing development proposals in line with codes and regulations also forms part of this role.We are keen to hear from applicants with previous experience in planning/ scheduling from with the FMCG industry. Good knowledge of production processes, a good level of numeracy and the ability to manage, analyse and interpret data using MS Office is requiredyou will possess advanced Excel skills.
