Job Description

We are recruiting for aHygiene Supervisor to work NIGHTS Monday to Friday to join a well-established food processing company based in Bilston WV14 offering huge discounts in their staff shop and onsite free parking!This Hygiene Supervisor role is permanentwith a salary of£29,000 per annumworking Monday to Friday 7pm5am (1900-0500) with occasional weekend work on a rota. As Hygiene Supervisor you will be reporting to the Hygiene Manager with responsibility for the following:

  • Manage a team of 30 Hygiene Operatives
  • Oversee the cleaning of the factory ensuring hygiene standards are adhered to enabling the site to meet all requirements
  • Train all staff to meet quality standards and ensure they are working safely within the site
  • Monitor KPI targets ensuring these are met
  • Ensure cleaning operations are conducted in compliance with customer specifications ensuring you follow Food Standard legislation
  • Review and ensure cleaning schedules are maintained
  • Liaise with chemical suppliers to ensure quality of service against Service Level Agreement and chemical requirements
  • Ensure strip downs, deep cleans and reassembly of all equipment including skinning machines, conveyors, dicing/ mincing machinery as necessary on daily basis
  • Supervise and audit the quality of clean and ensure non-conformances are dealt in a timely manner
  • Control of your resources, labour and chemical usage
  • Maintain accurate records particularly for the purpose of external audits and due diligence
We are really keen to hear from applicants withthe following skills and experience:
  • At least 2 years experience working in a Hygiene Supervisor role or similar (Cleaning or Facilities)
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of up to 30 Operatives
  • Good knowledge of cleaning standards, ideally with some Food Safety Standards knowledge
  • Previous experience of working in a factory/ warehouse/ production environment
  • Good IT skills
