HR ConsultantBusiness Unit: DigitalLocation: WolverhamptonContract Type: Permanent - Full TimeHours:37.5Salary:33,000 to 38,000 (DOE) Do you have experience working as an HR Advisor and are you looking for your next challengeHere at Restore Digital, we have an exciting opportunity for a People Consultant to join the team and help deliver our People Strategy and partner across our business unit.As the People Consultant, you will work proactively with the operational teams to provide excellent HR solutions, utilising your engagement, organisational skills and knowledge of people matters within the workplace & you will be a valued, interested andtrusted team member acting as an expert in your field.You will work in a team of 3 in the Restore Digital business unit and work on projects and initiatives across the wider Restore People team.If you are a personable HR Advisor, wanting to move your career into business partnering and you have a track record of employee relations in a multi-site organisation this is the role for you!RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building credible and authentic relationships with managers to enable a detailed understanding of the operational challenges and drive key culture change objectives
  • Developing and implementing a range of HR and Engagement Projects to deliver the People Strategy and make Restore a Great Place To Work
  • Providing advice and coaching to support people managers and management teams on complex HR issues and casework including disciplinary, grievance, absences, and performance cases, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidance
  • Delivering management training programmes.
  • Managing and supporting the consultation process of any re-organisation or restructuring within the business in line with UK Legislation
  • Driving a high-performance culture across the business unit ensuring plans are in place to develop managers and colleagues with high potential and proactively address those in the underperforming category
  • Together with the Head of People create a culture that is open and connected
  • Analysing, interpreting, and presenting a wide variety of HR metrics to identify and understand key issues and concerns in the business
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience working in an HR generalist role
  • Highly motivated and resilient - a curious self-starter
  • Confident and engaging personality with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • Commercial acumen and the understanding of how your role in HR impacts the wider organisation
  • Experience and confidence in communicating effectively at all levels and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • CIPD level 5 would be beneficial but not essential
Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence andthe Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
