CAD Technician~ Bilston, Wolverhampton ~£30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience) + Progression + PackagePackage includes: private health care scheme, life assurance, cycle to work scheme and much more!The perfect opportunity has arisen for a technical thinking individual to join the engineering team of a well establish public company.In this role you will work within the engineering team to support them in the development of standard and bespoke components of assemblies using Autodesk Inventor and flat pattern DXF profile drawings. This company therefore can offer a stable environment for the right individual looking to progressin even an uncertain climate, given the nature of their product and the relationships with their clients.In this role, you will be expected to proficiently use 2D and 3D softwares, such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and Autodesk Vault.The day to day will involve constant collaboration with the engineering team, producing 3D and sometimes 2D drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD. You will also be expected to compute timings and registers BOMs onto the ERP system accurately. Further responsibilitiescould include value engineering activities, reckoning item costs and process engineering change requests (ECOs).The ideal candidate should enjoy problem solving and working within a team, but also be ambitious and motivated to take advantage of the progression opportunities available.The Role:
