Electrical Design EngineerEstablished in 1979, CEEMA Technology has a long, well-established history as technical innovators within the UK design and engineering market. We are an agile privately owned SME operating from our premises in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, offering a fully integratedline-up of design, engineering and electronic manufacturing solutions.The Role:We are currently actively seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to expand our multi-skilled design team.Key Responsibilities:Define design specifications from customer requirements and carry out the resulting design activities.Carry out technical investigations.Carry out verification testing. Creation of high-quality reports, design files and other documentation for delivery to customers.Providing technical support to procurement department.Contribute to bid preparation / quotations.Work closely with customer engineering teams.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:HNC / Degree Qualified or equivalentElectrical Schematic LayoutCable / harness management and design 2D / 3D Electrical CADComponent selection / BOM generationWorking knowledge of relevant standards i.e EN60204, EN50178 / 62477, UL508C Ability to manage own projectsGood understanding of Electrical Engineering Best PracticeAdditional experience or awareness in any of the following would be beneficial:o EMC and Environmental Compliance / CE or UKCA Markingo IPC620 Cable Harness Designo 19" Rack systemso Electronics Circuit Designo PLC programming or similaro Mechanical Design & 3D CAD o Manufacturing Processes & materials o Defence / Aerospace test equipment experiencePLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate MUST be eligible for National Security Vetting (SC level).
