DevOps Engineer - AWS - Kent - Remote Working - £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsOverview:A Kent based company with a fantastic reputation providing a unique opportunity are looking to fill the role of DevOps Engineer. As the DevOps Engineer you will manage development tools and environment to aid and enhance the development process.Role & Responsibilities:·Support in the management of methods of deployment (development, testing and production environments) and the process and tools required to execute those deployments·Support in the management of the software development tools used by the development team and ensure they are scalable and failure proof·Create failure management process and tools so outages can be handled without causing a loss of delivery·Automate parts of the release process using scripts and other appropriate tools·Support in the management of issue tracking, source control, continuous integration, release and agile development tools·Devise and develop analytical methods and tools to measure the efficiency of products and processesEssential Skills & Experience: ·4 years experience in a DevOps role as part of a Software Development Team, developing desktop and web applications in a Windows environment·A minimum of 2 years working with AWS·Must have experience operating in virtual environments·Competent in writing technical reports, specifications and user documentation·Must have experience working with Agile development methodology·Good knowledge of Development, deployment, configurations and continuous integration technologies·Good working knowledge of source control technologies·Good working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Python, Powershell etc)Desirable:·Experienced in developing .Net applications making use of WCF, WPF and Windows Services·Experience in scripting, configuring and using automated test tools.·Experience working with Nexus Repository ManagerPackage: ·Salary up to £50K·25 days holiday·Private Healthcare·PensionDevOps Engineer - AWS - Kent - Remote Working - £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
