Workshop ManagerDue to our clients continued growth, they currently have a vacancy for a Workshop Manager who is required to look after the day to day running of their purpose-built depot in Bellshill near Glasgow – this depot contains up to date facilities and equipment required to provide a first-class service to their customers, suppliers, and employees.Workshop Manager Responsibilities:- Experience in managing the day to day activities of a Commercial Vehicle Workshop.- Expertise in managing contracts in a fast moving environment.- Effective leader with strong people management skills.- Producing monthly management reports- Experienced in managing to a P&L with KPI responsibilities.- Knowledge and understanding of compliance / Operators licence requirements.- Leading by example in relation to Health and Safety procedures.- Full driving licence.Workshop Manager Requirements:- Ideally 5 years’ experience in a workshop management position (Essential)- Minimum of 10 years workshop mechanical experience. (Essential)- NVQ or City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Technology (Light & Heavy) (Essential)- Management qualification NVQ (Preferable)- Understanding of Fabrication- Master Technicians Certificate (Preferable)- National CPC (preferable)- LGV 1 Licence (preferable)- Member of a relevant body (e.g., IRTE) (Preferable)- As part of the role, you will be leading relationships with key customers as well as external supply partners.- Experience in using common computer packages such as Microsoft office, Power point and Excel is required.- Strong leadership skills are essential with the ability to develop and influence positive relationships at all levelsAbout our client:They are part of a larger group and have built an excellent reputation for providing quality fleet services since its formation in 1996.
