iMultiply are working exclusively with a global Plc, a leading distribution business, to recruit a Management Accountant for the Scottish operation based in Lanarkshire on a permanent basis.The CompanyThis company is a leader in its sector providing distribution services to a globel network of suppliers. The Scottish division is a highly successful operation with an operational market advantage unmatched by anyone else in the industry.The RoleThis is an opportunity to support a Financial Controller with a track record for successfully mentoring staff through their professional accountancy qualification. Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partners you will ensure the achievementof revenue and profit targets and timely delivery of strategic and operational goals for the Scottish Divisions.Day-to-day you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Accurate and reliable output on specific tasks supporting insightful, high quality financial reporting to business leaders,
Working with Operational Finance to the deliver month end processes (both P&L and Balance Sheet),
Work with the finance administration team to deliver the month end cost allocation, recharge and accrual journals for all Scottish divisions,
Preparation of the monthly reporting packs including variances analysis and meaningful commentary to the finance business partners
Support in the delivery of forecasts and full year budget
Assist the financial controller in delivery of a high quality control environment through active enforcement of policies and procedures
Assistance with audits (client, internal and external) and regulatory compliance
Identify and drive operational improvement in finance and business processes
Provide a wide range of on-going and ad-hoc financial support including input on commercial, financial, client, legal and other issues.

To be considered for the role you must have the following experience:

QBE or Part-qualified accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA etc.),
Management accounting experience
Excellent MS Excel skills

On OfferThis Management Accountant role is offered on a full time (40h/wk), permanent basis with a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 based on experience and a £2,000 bonus.
