Job Description

Job Title: Technical Team LeadLocation: Belfast - HybridFull time - 35 hours____________________________________________________The RoleThis is the chance to work in a progressive Financial Services Company that is seeking an individual to Lead and Inspire their Development and associated teams. The company is very much .NET focused and you will be working with new and emerging tech.This is a great opportunity for an existing Tech Lead to challenge themselves in a new environment or for a Senior / Lead Developer to step up into their next role. There are numerous projects, many of which are Greenfield in nature to get involved in. Therole will also expose you to newer technologies and is very much Cloud (Azure focused in nature)Key Responsibilities

  • Be the technical leader of a squad (Technical Leads, developers, QA)
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable back-end systems that run on .NET Core, Azure.
  • Lead & implement high-quality Web applications and other innovative solutions using appropriate, industry-standard tools, technologies, and languages.
  • Work closely with the product owners and product designer to refine new ideas and translate them into technically feasible
  • To assist and contribute to architecture and technical strategy in relation to project deliverables
  • Mentor and coach developers and review their work, mentor others to adopt Agile practices.
  • To contribute to the improvement of the code base, and project and development processes
Skills and Experience
  • Solid experience in C# - coding scalable web applications, interacting with Restful APIs and data.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with an organized and proactive approach to workload
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adopt to new technologies. (required)
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and TSQL (required)
  • Experience with .Net frameworks (required)
  • Knowledge of Object orientated development (required)
