JOB AD:Contract Software Engineer (6 months)On-Site in BelfastThe role of the Contract Software Engineer (6 months) focuses on implementing audio selection functionality directly into Android/AOSP using C++ along with creating the related comprehensive unit tests.This is a position for an engineer with experience in C++ and Android/AOSP at a system and framework level. If you are somebody up for this task, that can diagnose, solve complex problems and work on features from requirement to completion, we would loveto hear from you!Minimum Qualifications2:1 Degree or equivalent qualification and experience in software engineering or a systems engineering course with a software component.Excellent understanding of software design techniques.Minimum of 5 years of experience of software development in system with tight CPU and memory requirements using C++.Experience building and installing Android/AOSP images.Excellent understanding and software development at the system and framework level with Android/AOSP systems.Experience with GIT version control system.Experience designing unit tests and using unit test frameworks.Experience analysing, testing, debugging of new and legacy designs.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills.Preferred QualificationsApplication development using Java on Android.Experience with CMAKE.
