With opportunities to progress for those interested in developing their careers.About the role:As a Senior HR Advisor, you will proactively partner and collaborate with the HR Business Partners & Line Managers to provide comprehensive, pragmatic and commercially focused operational HR support & solutions in relation to people issuesthat will meet business objectives & create an environment of positive people management, to ensure we attract, develop & retain talented people who are fully engaged and aligned to Values.Our clients business never sits still, therefore the role is hybrid working / mobile with a requirement to travel in line with business needs to support key stakeholders. Ideally you will be based anywhere with easy links to travel networks; with key locationsbeing Northwich, Leeds, Dublin, Belfast with the opportunity to work from home c.2 days per week on average.What you will do as the Senior HR Advisor:

  • Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for building strong professional relationships with Management Teams & participate in Management Team meetings, providing a business partnering service, acting as a trusted partner, coach andmentor to managers on people issues.
  • Working as part of a shared HR Advisor team, with dedicated business areas of responsibility, to support line managers with the delivery of the people agenda, driving consistency of application of company procedures and mitigating risk to the organisation.
  • Providing commercially focused advice & support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues in line with Company procedures, including disciplinary, grievance & absence management issues.
  • Actively coach & train line managers on all aspects of people management, empower managers to lead their teams through up-skilling them on basic people-management processes Raise awareness of current & new employment legislation as well as other trends,initiatives, and corporate initiatives.
  • Identifying trends & proactively address issues of voluntary attrition, sickness & identify cost savings within the business.
  • Working with managers to support recruitment & effective onboarding of talent, including active participation in interviews/assessment days, onboarding and probation reviews are taking place.
  • Promoting and tracking completion of the annual personal performance & development framework, to ensure all associates have objectives, development goals and regular discussions with line managers around how they are doing & where they are going.
Knowledge & Experience you will need asthe Senior HR Advisor:
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 7 or relevant professional experience
  • Strong generalist HR experience, preferably gained within a commercial and fast-paced environment
  • HR Project Experience (particularly around people change initiatives)
  • Knowledge of Workday is desirable
  • Working knowledge of UK & Irish Employment Law
  • Experience of HR support to a diverse population within a matrix environment
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of management
  • High standard of influencing skills with the ability to constructively challenge as appropriate is essential
  • Strong organisational, time & project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and make own decisions, but ensure all key stakeholders receive regular progress updates for a successful delivery against objectives
