Job Description

Sales Assistant - WHSmith - Belfast International AirportContract Type - PermanentContracted Hours: Ranging from 8 hours per week to 30 hours per weekSales Assistant working hours will be offered between 4am and 10pm Monday to Sunday. Usual shifts being:4.00am - 1.00pm1.00pm - 10.00pmPlease note - We can offer more flexible shift patterns and are willing to discuss if progressed to the interview stage

  • Salary:
    • 18 - 20 £7.19
    • 21 - 22 £9.66
    • 23+ £10.00
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave

Candidates must be aged 18 or aboveAirport Requirements:
  • 5 years continuous references (professional/educational/personal gap reference) to gain an Airside Airport Security Pass

Sales Assistant introduction:To provide exceptional customer service, proactively dealing with all customers, making the most of every sales opportunity and acting as an ambassador delivering the WHSmith brand to all our customers.Role of a Sales Assistant:
  • Deliver a friendly service, smiling, greeting and making eye contact with every customer you come into contact with
  • Working on tills accurately and efficiently to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
  • Working as an active member of the team, supporting colleagues in all tasks
  • Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented. Accurately following planograms
