DescriptionNetwork Infrastructure Engineer IIIRole Description:As we embark on a journey to transform the Network Services Group in CME, we are looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join us. We are a global team across US, UK, India and Singapore made up of a diverse range of people from varied backgrounds who each bring unique network experiences and skillsets. The Enterprise Network Utilities team is responsible for the full networking infrastructure product lifecycle - Design, implement, maintenance (upgrading/patching), improvement and roadmap and is the Technical Authority/Center of Excellence of the global networkin CME Group. The team will work closely with other Network Services teams in project delivery to ensure one of the largest Exchange network infrastructures in the world is highly available, resilient, secure and reliable. Responsibilities:Full networking platforms lifecycle - Design, implement, maintenance (upgrading/patching), improvement and roadmap Technical Authority/Escalation for networking infrastructure platforms Support other verticals in NSG Change approval Identify opportunity for automation Project management Problem management/resolution Documentation Monitor the performance of our network infrastructure and develop automated solutions to address any issues. Perform automated regular network infrastructure audits to ensure continuous compliance with best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with other teams to design and implement tools that will help automate end-to-end processes within network infrastructure. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and help enhance quality of internal processes. Work with the team and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, deliver solutions through environments and into production Oncall on a rotational basis What we are looking for:Experience in F5 LTM/GTM with a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience in IPAM - Infoblox of 3 years experience. Experience in Aruba WIFI and Clearpass authentication services with a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience in Network Time Services design/implementation (PTP/NTP) - Meinberg. Experience in Out-of-Band management - Digi. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Experience with networking such as firewalls, routers and switches. Proficiency in configuring and managing networking devices, including routers, switches Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our lines of business and internal teams Exposure in Cloud networking (e.g. GCP or AWS) Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or equivalent, would be a highly desirable Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is preferred CME Group: Where Futures Are Made CME Group (www.cmegroup.com) is the worlds leading derivatives marketplace.
