This International Quantity Surveyor role has been newly created for a fast-growing business unit within a global manufacturer offering innovative HVAC solutions for large scale, high value projects globally. You will report directly into the Finance Director, UK, Ireland & Global Applications. In a division that is predicted to double turnover in the next 3 years, down to market demand and enhanced focus on certain vertical markets. You will be working from home with international travel on occasions.This is a high-profile cost control post, designed to deliver sharp commercial focus for the international team.Other key elements to the role are; · Create a best-in-class function that controls costs and margins for the international projects. · To navigate communications with global teams; sales, procurement, design, production, delivery, and installation. · Manage tender documents and contractual obligations for our business and contract teams. · Consistently monitor risk, compliance, value management, value engineering, contracts, and cost control. · Report on full project analysis and produce detailed progress reports for all stakeholders involved. · Play a key role in the negotiation of terms and conditions with customers.Requirements: M&E Quantity Surveyor - International Projects· You will have the following skills and experience, alongside being a member of RICS; · Your Quantity Surveyor experience will almost certainly come from an M&E environment. · You will have the desire to make something your own and create a strong commercially focussed function. · Have the depth of knowledge to be able to shape this newly created role that will instantly add value and support to the Directors and Project Managers. · A tenacious approach to complex projects that have crucial timelines for completion. · Be commercially aware of how changes to order will impact the initial financial modelling and impact the P&L. · Be comfortable in a client facing role and demonstrate strong influencing skills from start to project close out.THE COMPANY:We are a market leader for indoor air technology solutions used in critical commercial applications globally.
