For more information visit www.treliant.com.ResponsibilitiesAbout the roleThe scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary according to your particular skill set & experience, however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:Working on projects for top tier investment banking clients, developing your skillset through our training programmes along with on-the-job experience to become a Subject Matter Expert within areas of Investment BankingNegotiate and review legal agreements with internal and external clientsEngage with Legal teams within the bank across multiple geographiesCommunicate with clients via telephone and electronic avenues for negotiationsWork primarily with ISDAs, but also with other legal documentation around Margin Rules, IBOR and BrexitEnsure the bank complies with regulatory requirementsEnsure that the correct controls and processes are in place in order to mitigate risk within the businessManage large volumes of data using relevant data management softwareOther responsibilities that fall under the remit of the roleWho are we looking forQualifications & ExperienceStrong educational background – Degree (Master would be an advantage)4+ years Legal experience ideally within a banking environmentExperience in legal negotiation, in particular ISDAs, Master AgreementsStrong communication skills, confident communicating with clients and stakeholdersData Management - Able to understand, analyze and manage large amounts of dataStrong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Professional SkillsCommunication – advanced interpersonal & communication skills.
