Allowances - Company vehicle, phone, and laptop.Electrically biased multi skilled Field Service Engineer required to install and maintain vertical access equipment in industrial, construction and wind turbine environments. You will be expected to travelacross the UK and Ireland on a regular basis with some international travel. Main responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, fault-find & repair, test & inspection, commissioning, technical support and LOLER Thorough Examination on our products.Specific product training will be given.This is a role with a large amount of autonomy and is suited to an individual with confidence and good communication skills as you will be the face of our company to our customers.You must be able to work remotely onyour own as well as having the ability to slot into a team where appropriate.You will also be required to maintain regular contact with office staff and direct line management keeping them appraised of day-to-day activities.20 days annual holiday plus BankHolidays rising to 25 days annual holiday after 12 monthsRequiredFormal electrical maintenance qualification such as NVQ3 or equivalentDemonstrable experience of working on 3 phase machines including electrical fault finding/troubleshootingHappy to work atheights and travel overseas or offshore.BeneficialCompEx core competence certification an advantage.Experience of installation and maintenance of large machines. Familiarity with frequency converters and PLC’s.
