DescriptionThe Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst will have a strategic focus and is responsible for supporting day-to-day CME Group cyber threat intelligence (CTI) operations to include collections management, analysis (and quality control of all analyticproducts), and dissemination of finished products to a wide range of technical and non-technical internal customers such as security operations teams, information technology teams, enterprise risk management teams, and executive decision makers. The analyst will be the most senior member of CTI in the Belfast office. They will not have direct reports but will be heavily involved in mentorship and training of junior threat intelligence analysts. The Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst will reportdirectly to the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence, who oversees the global intelligence program. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of CME Groups Cyber Threat Intelligence team in Belfast, which contributes to all cyber threat intelligence activities
• Serve as the senior on-site all-source cyber threat intelligence analyst
• Work closely with the Director of CTI to both develop and maintain working partnerships with functional senior leaders to ensure threat intelligence analysis and products are mapped to prioritized corporate assets and risks
• Assist in the selection of and development of CTI team members by mentoring junior intelligence analysts and engineers
• Maintain extensive expertise on emerging cyber threats and trends against CME Group business lines, its technological footprint, and stakeholders
• Provide functional analytic support pertaining to a wide range of cyber threat actors
• Perform analytic support, as needed, focused on cyber threat actor strategies, capabilities, and intent to conduct cyberspace operations, as well as cyber-oriented groups, individuals, organizations, tools, tactics, and procedures
• Provide quality control over team products: assist with drafting, editing, critiquing, and proofreading threat intelligence estimates, briefs, assessments, and memorandums

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
• Ability to write high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for an executive level audience
• Ability to develop specific expertise, to discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and to communicate an understanding of current and developing cyber threats
• Ability to leverage well-honed online researching expertise to identify and navigate relevant online forums, including Web sites, social media, and traditional sources to support research and analysis.
• BA/BS degree or higher in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with intelligence analysis; preferably via the Intelligence Community, Military Intelligence, or a Fortune 500 company
• Experience leading and/or mentoring high-functioning teams
• Intimate knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis, or other relevant network defense and intelligence frameworks.
• Experience with/exposure to cyber, incident response and digital forensics, security engineering, security operations, computer network operations, information operations, information warfare, or topical cyber

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with emerging computer or online technologies, online social behaviors, and computer or Internet slang
• Experience creating Indicators of Compromise from technical sources and/or experience with other detection technologies
• Knowledge of network security technologies, log formats, SIEM technologies, and security operations
• Ability to display foreign language proficiency in priority languages, including Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin or Russian
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess and help others team members develop ability to develop and communicate complex information concepts, in a confident and organized manner
• Experience as a writer or editor of intelligence and/or threat-related analysis.
• Network+, Security+, GSEC or CEH Certification, relevant SANS training, or other technical industry certifications
