REED Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a charitable organisation based in South Belfast and are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager / Accounting Technician to join their finance team.This is a full time permanent opportunity offering the opportunity to work from home.The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager and will assist in the day to day running of the department.Key responsibilities will include:Ensuring correct monthly invoicing within expected deadlinesMaintenance of up-to-date service user records on internal bespoke systemAssist Finance Manager in development of bespoke system as appropriateResponsible for debtor ManagementPreparation of Debtor Report for Senior ManagementPreparation and collection of Direct Debits from Service UsersCalculation of charges for Service UsersIncome reconciliationOversight and management of processing of cash to services ie petty cash and PPPA fundsAssist Finance Manager in management of purchase ledger and nominal ledger as requiredThe Person:Applicants should hold an ATI qualification or part professional qualification, with have 3 years experience working in a finance function with multiple income streams, will have a high degree of knowledge around Sage Line 50 and will ideally have previousexperience working with a not for profit organisation.Experience in managing and mentoring staff would be preferred.Benefits:The company offers excellent benefits to include a competitive salary, 23 days annual leave and 12 statutory days, and enhanced pension contribution, home working, flexitime and reward incentives aligned to performance.If you meet the criteria and would like to find out more about this opportunity, please get in touch as soon as possible on and email an up to date cv to
