Finance Manager - TeessideYour new role:An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join an exciting business in Teesside to join a growing finance team and take ownership of 3 European entities, all of which need processes putting in place and streamlining to ensure accurate numbersare reported and controls are in place.As the ideal candidate you play a crucial role in providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, and strategic guidance to senior management, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.Key responsibilities:

Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, highlight areas of concern, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, supporting the achievement of organisational goals.
Supporting senior management in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the companys objectives.
Providing financial insights and and projections to assist in strategic decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Assisting in coordinating external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior management, department heads and external partners, to provide financial guidance and support.

As the ideal candidate you will be/have:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Experienced in management accounts.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting.
Proficient in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
