Job Description

Medic 365 Ltd is a specialist recruitment partner for prehospital care professionals. The company supports NHS organisations and independent ambulance providers with staffing requirements across a range of settings including: frontline services, urgent treatmentcentres, emergency departments, primary care, non-emergency patient transport services and event medical provision.Role DescriptionThis is a role for an Ambulance Care Assistant. The Ambulance Care Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient transportation of patients in and out of medical facilities, ensuring patients comfort and providing empathetic careduring transportation.Qualifications

  • Manual Handling and interpersonal skills
  • FAW Qualification or FREC 3 but training can be provided.
  • Dementia care and caregiving experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and with empathy
  • Experience in working in a healthcare environment is a plus
  • A valid driving license is required
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or relevant qualification is desirable
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely and promptly transport patients to/from hospital settings.
  • Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Complete daily vehicle & equipment checks.
  • Complete records for patient transport.
  • Adherence to all company and NHS policies and procedures.
