Job Description

Supplying stages, grandstands, rigging services and many other event structures, this prestigious, exciting and expanding events organiser/supplier has an exciting job opportunity for the position of Marketing Manager.ROLE OVERVIEW • Managing the day to day marketing activity in line with annual marketing strategy and plans • Working alongside the Sales and Marketing Director to plan the marketing activity required to achieve business objectives • Ensuring marketing activityutilises the marketing budget in the most efficient way. Working to agreed KPIs and reportingTHE PACKAGE • £30,000 • Free parking • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays • Pension - 5% Employer contribution • Plus working with a fantastic team!KEY OPERATIONAL DUTIES• Strategic Alignment: Understanding the broader business plan, strategic aims, and growth plans. Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing Director to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with overall business strategy.• Annual Planning: Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to formulate the annual marketing plan and associated budget, ensuring alignment with the overarching marketing strategy.• Social Media Management: Developing and implementing a social media strategy in line with the marketing strategy. Utilising social media platform scheduling tools (e.g., HubSpot) to execute the plan effectively.• Campaign Management: Conceptualising and executing marketing campaigns to support the sales and marketing strategy. Utilising HubSpot CRM to stay up to date, manage inbound responses and assign leads to the sales team promptly.• Collaboration with Sales: Working closely with the sales team to ensure proposals are presented accurately and aligned with the brand. Establishing a centralised asset library to expedite proposal creation, tender responses and other on-brand activities.• Product-Specific Marketing: Developing and implementing campaigns for the Starbox product, focusing on increasing demand outside peak trading periods.• Collaboration with SEO/PPC Agency: Liaising with Company’s external SEO/PPC agency to ensure all content is relevant, on-brand, and supports the broader business growth strategy.• ICP Review and Data Management: Regularly review Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for each business pillar ensuring marketing activities target the correct audience. Ensuring HubSpot data reflects agreed ICPs, is appropriately tagged and can be easily segmentedfor marketing and sales purposes.• ABM Support: Collaborating with the sales team to provide ideas, suggestions, content and activities that support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives, targeting key accounts aligned with the business growth strategy.• Events, exhibitions, and awards: Evaluating and recommending appropriate events, exhibitions and awards for Star Live participation. Support with the essential requirements to facilitate involvement.• PR: Suggesting and securing suitable PR opportunities - advertorial and editorial - to support the wider marketing and sales strategy.• Reporting: Reporting monthly on all activities, working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director in wider support of the creation of the board report.
