Job Description

LOCATION OF WORK: Remote working. Visiting the Harrogate office if essentialIR35 STATUS: Outside of IR35THE PROJECT:An electronics business in Harrogate require an Embedded C Software Engineer with small microcontroller experience, to do a mixture of bug fixing and new feature development.You will be working on a legacy product which is core to the business and uses an 8-bit Atmel microcontroller.For this role you should have proven experience working on small microcontrollers (8 or 16 bit) and must be comfortable working on an existing codebase.This role will be remote working with visits to the office in Yorkshire when essential. This is not expected to be often at all.KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

Embedded C

Small microcontroller experience (ideally 8-bit ATMEL microcontroller experience)

Excellent fault-finding capabilities

Comfortable doing new feature development to an existing code base.
