About the team:The Lishman unit is a national specialist unit taking referrals from across the country. The ward is a 15-bedded unit where we manage the psychiatric complications of neurological and neurosurgical disorders, including epilepsy, Parkinson’s, memory disorders, brain tumours and functional neurological disorders (FND) among others. The ward team is made up of nurses, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, rehab assistants and health care assistants.About the role:This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic nurse to lead our inpatient neuropsychiatry service. We are looking for an assertive, approachable and creative individual to manage the day to day running of the ward including role modelling high standards of care, reviewing referrals, service development, promoting good practice, maintaining patient and staff safety, completing weekly and monthly audits and leading on quality improvement projects.About the location:We are based at Bethlem Royal, Hospital, Monks Orchard Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 3BXOur Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2).
