Duration: 29-Jun-2020 - 31-Dec-2020You are a Technical Project Manager with experience from working with system development (or equivalent) according to scrum within complex IT systems and you are used to coach and lead in an agile organization.We believe you have worked with large and complex rollouts of IT systems before and have a basic knowledge and understanding of CI/CD concepts and the release and deploy process.The main objective of this assignment will be to plan and oversee the rollout of migration of approximate 500 servers, from the current Oracle RDB database to PostgreSQL database. The activity will go on for 9-12 months.Build positive relationships with stakeholders to pave way for a successful and efficient deliverySecure the integrity of the tools and script developed for the migration of the databasePlan, prepare and track the rollout/migrationSecure an organisation and ways of working fit for purpose for the rolloutIdentify risks and dependencies. Develop agreed mitigation strategiesThis role is responsible for providing transparency and visibility on progress of the preparations (technical and non-technical) for the upcoming pilots and later the rollout/migration both internally and externally, which means that you are very experienced in communication and visualization of scope and status.You probably have some experience as project manager, product owner or similar role(s) and is comfortable in your role as a leader and lead and act in accordance to your personal values.As a leader you are used to work and act in an agile organisation and you are familiar with servant and situational leadership.You can communicate and inspire resources towards a vision and set goals.We also expect you to interact with colleagues from business and IT and collect all the necessary input, plan and execute the work necessary which produce the result in order to maximize the throughput for the system.You are able to perform and prioritize daily work, both independently on your own, together with the team in their daily sprint work as well as together with other teams to benefit the system in total.Due to the complexity it is important to learn the functionality and technology behind the system.It is important to have an open mindset, curiosity and interest to understand both the technical solution which the team is working with and the business flows in the stores that the system is supporting.Due to the technical nature of the work it is important that you understand, embrace and are willing to learn and adhere to new technology.This role is responsible for supporting the team working with the migration in identifying and removing any potential impediments/blockers, manage any emerging dependencies and escalate when needed.This requires a technical and architectural understanding and interest of the system and IT landscape.It is also important that you have an understanding of the release and deployment process.You have experience from the Atlassian Change Management tool suite: JIRA, Xray and Confluence.You are aware of the functionality of Git as source code management application.Knowledge about Oracle RDB and/or PostgreSQL databases is useful, just like knowledge about operating systems OpenVMS, Unix or Linux .Three most important things1.
