An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation - our global FMCG client (the powerhouse behind brands such as Persil, Surf, Comfort, Domestos and Cif) have an opening for a Lab Technician to be based at our clientsprestigious Research & Development Facility in Port Sunlight, Wirral.This is a full time, temporary role for 6 months, to start ASAP, paying up to £26,956 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.JOB PURPOSE:The role of the Product Quality and Stability (PQS) team within B&W Global Design Centre is to ensure that the products we have on shelf are of the high quality in terms of stability. A standard that people expect from brands.To do this we need a team dedicated to high quality measurements, using the most reliable techniques, capturing, and managing data in a structured way.An opportunity has arisen for a degree-qualified scientist to join the team in Port Sunlight. The role will contribute to all innovation and capability projects across B&W Skin Care global and EU regional teams as well as packaging.The role will be suited to a self-motivated, organised research scientist with strong people skills and good practical laboratory skills. The role will require identifying and working with other groups and external partners to develop the stability measurementtechniques of the future and build on the techniques and processes already in place.The role requires working across multi-disciplinary project teams where members contribute to achieving a common goal. A candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative and a desire to continually develop their scientificskills.RESPONSIBILITIES:
