Job Description

Atkinson Moss is currently looking for a Sales Ledger Specialist to join a large buying group.The Sales Ledger Specialist will ensure Member queries are dealt with accurately in a timely manner, including processing of credit notes.Main duties:

  • Acting as first port of call for Member queries via email and telephone
  • Dealing with suppliers to rectify incorrect invoicing
  • Chasing up suppliers to reduce number of invoices under query
  • Understand and report root causes of billing errors
  • Process supplier credit notes
  • Process member correction documentation within deadlines ensuring prompt resolution
  • Record issues within NetSuite CRM system
  • Professional and efficient customer focussed approach with Members
  • Oversee duties of the Sales Ledger Assistant and ensure goals are achieved. Monitor staff performance via regular one to ones and performance reviews.
Experience and skills:
  • Strong IT skills, inc. excel
  • Sound and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience gained within a similar role highly advantageous especially data entry and query management
  • Understanding of invoices, credit notes & VAT

  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
