Job Description

HR ADMINISTRATOR – *** immediate start! ***REED Business Support in Bath is honoured to be working with a highly respected business in Bath in their search for a Temporary HR Administrator. This role is to start immediately.Monday to Friday, 36.5 hours per week.£11.00 - £14.00 per hour – depending on experienceHybridThe successful temporary HR Administrator does not need a background in HR but needs strong administration experience and to be available immediately.Key responsibilities will include:

  • To act as first point of contact for HR queries, providing proactive, customer service focused support and advice to employees/line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner, referring to an HR Business Partner as appropriate
  • To provide a full administrative service covering recruitment, starters and leavers, sickness absence monitoring, maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave and general terms and conditions of employment
  • To be responsible for data entry and maintenance of the HR and payroll database, and electronic staff and learning and development records, as instructed
  • To attend and produce minutes/ notes for meetings as required
  • To liaise as appropriate with both internal and external customers and suppliers, gathering and passing on relevant information and building positive relationships to ensure effective communication.
The ideal candidate should:
  • Possess strong IT skills (MS Office and database)
  • Have strong communication skills, be a genuine team player
  • Have administrative experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Be a self starter, excellent attention to detail and able to spot mistakes
