Job Description

REED Business Support in Bath is recruiting for a Front of House/Administrator to work with a firm based on the outskirts of Bath. This role is to add additional support to the team and is to start w.c 5th September for 1 month + (it could go permanent for the lucky person).The working hours for this role are:M-F - 8.30am-5.30pm£10-10.25 per hourDuties include:

  • Back up support to the receptionist. Answering telephone calls politely, promptly and in a professional manner; screening and directing calls, passing on messages promptly and accurately and arranging couriers
  • Arranging and sorting all office recycling
  • Monitoring and ordering stationary supplies
  • Managing print room, monitoring paper stock and re-ordering when necessary, investigating problems with printers and organising an engineer if required
  • Basic data recording i.e. paper use monitoring and food monitoring/ stock control
  • Providing tea and coffee promptly twice a day
  • Assisting the chef with food ordering and stock control
  • Opening all blinds in meeting rooms first thing in the morning and close at end of day
  • Preparing refreshments for internal meetings
  • Ensuring office fridges are fully stocked with milk
  • Loading and unloading dishwashers
  • Ensuring the kitchens, meeting rooms and public areas are kept clear and presentable
  • Setting up new accounts for new starters on printers
  • Ordering food, wine and any other requirements for office events and general office biscuits and refreshments
  • Maintaining stock levels of shared areas- toilet rolls, kitchen cleaning products, towels/ tea towels
  • Reception cover (when and if required)
The ideal candidate should:
  • Be punctual
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • Be polite and friendly
  • Be confident and outgoing with the ability to use initiative and work without constant supervision
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint essential
