Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner will offer additional support across the operations function, including Supply chain, procurement and logistics.Client DetailsOur client is at the forefront of diagnostic tools within the health care sector, their revolutionary products allow the testing and immediate identification of infection. Michael Page are pleased to support this client as they adapt their technology to support the Covid-19 outbreak.DescriptionKey responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Stock control and inventory procurement to support multiple sales channels around the world. Managing those suppliers and expediting deliveries to achieve business goals
  • Assist the wider Operations team in S&OP planning and generating supply plans to fulfil all sales demand
  • Planning and management of 3rd party contract manufactures
  • Work hand-in-hand with other key CMOs to assist with production planning, forward projection of component and raw material requirements, plus reporting back to wider stakeholders
  • The effective sourcing of production critical components
  • Work with and maintain positive relationships with 3PLs
  • Logistics administration, (booking shipments, raising shipping orders)
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will possess;
  • A strong background in planning within an FMCG environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Adaptable nature that enjoys taking on new responsibilities
  • High attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Excel and MRP systems
  • Some exposure to logistics/production would be beneficial
  • Ability to develop relationships internally and externally
