An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join our team in the RUH at the new Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care. We have a purpose built unit, designed for the family’s needs and developmental care is the core focus for all of our babies.We serve a birth population of 5300 deliveries a year, designated as a level 2 local neonatal unit with 21 cots, 4 intensive, 3 high dependency and 14 special care. We have an Outreach team and are actively involved in the South West Neonatal Network.We are looking for motivated staff nurses who are enthusiastic practitioners with excellent assessment and communication skills, wanting to develop their clinical neonatal and leadership skills. In return you will be supported by our skilled senior nursing and medical team. We have various job opportunities both full and part time, permanent contracts. We would welcome and support applications from midwives, adult trained nurses with critical care experience and children’s trained nurses.There is a fully supported orientation and induction programme, including a supernummary period with mentorship, and excellent development opportunities. We offer a personal development programme for the successful candidates, giving structured support into this role. We are working towards UNICEF Baby Friendly Neonatal Accreditation.
