Job Description

SQL Server DBAI am working with a Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy who are looking for a SQL Server DBA to join their team. This organisation is a successful MS Gold Partner organisation who offer IT consultancy and managed IT Services for Oracle, Microsoft and Google.They have specialisms in data platform management, application development, engineered systems and Cloud. This organisation value learning and development and will invest in their employees personal and technical development.As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas

  • Working closely with clients and delivery partners to drive definition and deliver high impact solutions based on Microsofts data stack
  • Engaging in database projects - these include: full system design, in situ upgrades, performance tuning, Azure migrations, disaster recovery and high availability
  • Proactively working with the sales team and provide pre-sales
This is a salaried role paying up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience. This role is mostly remote with occasional visits to the office for meetings or events and travel to client sites if necessary. There is also a company benefits package on offerwhich includes holiday allowance and company pension scheme alongside others benefits.To be successful in the role you will have
  • SQL DBA experience and skillset
  • Database and application performance tuning
  • Understanding and application of database design techniques
  • Transact-SQL programming skills
  • SSRS- installation, configuration, and administration.
  • SSAS-installation, configuration, and administration.
