How exciting would it be to work for an organisation who build software that helps peopleAnd to build that software working for an organisation who over the years have built a team and culture that many others would be envious of - transparent, open, ethical, empowering, rewarding.SR2 are proud to be representing a true south-west success story, a pioneering organisation in the healthtech space whose software helps therapists and care givers provide a better, safer and more consistent service to those who need it (and securely hold the data of millions).Right now they are looking for a Software Developer (PHP/JavaScript) to join their squad. As part of one of their 4 scrum teams (of around 5-6 people) youll dig straight in to their codebase, working on new features, improvements, optimisation and integration projects in 2 week sprints. They use Slim framework on the back-end predominantly and also build microservices in other frameworks (Laravel etc). On the front-end they use whatever fits the job - could be React, could be a more simple jQuery build.Theyre open-minded on frameworks so dont be put off if you dont have specific Slim, Laravel or React experience. Naturally modern frameworks and experience working on a product or suite of products is likely to pique their interest more although feel free to send in your CV if you feel confident you can pick things up quickly! They operate a flat structure and have a culture which encourages people to take ownership, collaborate and come up with new ideas. In their words "it doesnt matter if youve been here for 20 years or 20 minutes, if youve got something to say well listen." Speaking to those who work there they find this hugely liberating and for that reason their turn over of engineers is little to none. This is a hugely exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone with solid PHP & JavaScript skills. The healthcare industry is forever evolving, no more so than recently. There is a huge amount of meaningful work to be done that will ultimately help people.Whats in it for you
