Job Description

At this PRU, they are driven by the belief that every student deserves a chance to reach theirfull potential, and they are determined to provide them with a supportive and inclusive learning environment.The RoleAs a Maths Teacher at our PRU, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of our students. Your expertise will be instrumental in unlocking the beauty of numbers and equations, fostering a love for mathematics, and boosting theirconfidence in the subject.Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored, and differentiated Maths lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and a growth mindset.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance in grasping mathematical concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Monitor and track students progress, offering constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
  • Inspire a love for learning and instil confidence in students abilities, preparing them for academic success and beyond.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status with a specialism or experience teaching Mathematics.
  • Experience working with students who may have challenging behaviour or additional educational needs.
  • A genuine passion for education and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on young lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians effectively.
  • The ability to adapt teaching styles and approaches to suit individual learning styles and needs.
  • A strong sense of empathy, patience, and resilience to overcome obstacles and ensure every student flourishes.
