Job Description

Mbf are working with one of our very best clients to recruit an experienced Paraplanner/Client Manager. The business are true market leaders with offices across the UK, they are a Chartered & fully independent business that have won multiple industry awards.The client is now seeking to recruit a Paraplanner/Client Manager to join their growing Bath based team. This role will work closely with a successful Financial Planners. You will provide high quality technical support and will also be a first point of contactfor clients. The client is looking for an individual who is happy to attend client meetings and have a genuine impact on the advice process.Duties include:

  • To assist the Financial Planner in formulating the advice to the client, taking instructions for research and/or document the advice to provide to the companies Paraplanning team
  • To attend client meetings (normally via Teams) with the FP to take detailed notes of the meeting
  • Respond to client emails by analysing and researching the technical questions and creating the appropriate response for the client or FP Director
  • Review client objectives ensuring they are clear, concise and achievable when compared against the clients financial circumstance.
The client is looking for an experienced individual who holds the Diploma as a minimum, any additional exams towards Chartered would be an advantage. This position would suit an individual who is looking to get more involved with the advice process, attendingclient meetings and undertaking full technical work for a Senior Planner/Director.This position can be based fully from home; however, you will need to be based close to Cheltenham. The client is looking for an individual who is happy to attend client meetings from time to time, you will also be required to come into the office sporadicallyfor training & team meetings.
