Network Engineer - ISPBath / Bristol£40,000 - £50,000 with Pension, BUPA Health plan, flexible working and accredited training Are you a hands on network engineer, ideally a layer 2 configuration engineer from an ISP that can apply the skills to a mixed vendor (Cisco / Extreme & Merchant Silicon) environmentThis is a rapid growth technology business based between Bath / Bristol, and they are on the cusp of real advancement when it comes to the network operations side of the company. These are delivery focused roles and the company has a number of projects in the pipeline that will increase their data network footprint alongside on-going Automation & SDN and innovation. The current environment is bias towards Extreme but we are happy to talk with network engineers regardless of vendor background as youll get the chance to evolve and gain further exposure to the vendor technologies that best suit an innovative ISP.This is going to be a key team for the business and youll be troubleshooting faults, provisioning and occasionally dealing with faults in the field - driving license is needed on that basis.Out of hours support is currently being covered by a 3rd party NOC, but flexibility is likely needed for an on call rota in the future. In summary:, if you are an ISP sector network engineer with MPLS, BGP, ISIS and OSPF knowledge that wants to have more of a voice, in a well funded, cutting edge service provider then this could be well worth looking at.Whats on offer £40 - 50k SalaryAnnual bonusPension BUPA Health Plan On-going accredited trainingFlexible workingThe Next Steps If this sounds like you and you want to find out more then get in touch - Neil Crudden on .
