Job Description

    • Full-Stack Developer with strong React experience and an interest in working with Node and React Native is required to join a hugely successful Tech For Good business with offices in Bath. With a whole host of products that help co-ordinate health and social care whilst saving the NHS money and time, this is an amazing opportunity to use your code to help people. Some of their products have already helped the Covid vaccination efforts and children’s mental health and more are likely to come online soon.*1-2 days at their offices in Bath as a minimum, rest remote.What skills youll be needing
  • Experienced JavaScript ES6, REACT.
  • Strong HTML5 / CSS.
  • GIT.
  • Experience of building web applications.
  • Jira.
    • Nice to have’s
  • NodeJS and Electron development.
  • REACT-NATIVE, RELM on iOS / Android – willing to learn on the role.
  • Python 2.7 / 3.
  • Python Django 1.9+
  • Understanding of RabbitMQ.
  • MySQL – able to develop SQL and understand and contribute to data model development.
  • MongoDB – able to build queries and understand document orientated model.
  • Ideally have some experience with ElasticSearch.
    • What youll be doingAlongside a small team of passionate developers, you’ll be building web applications and gain experience of building mobile applications based around React/Node/React Native tech. Their first project is a mobile app migration project where you’ll be able to pick React Native in an agile set-up as well as get to grips with their innovative product suite. Working across the stack you’ll also be able to contribute to the architecture for presentation services and cloud to produce strong applications. They have Python based services and the ability to pick them up is important alongside the full JS stack.
