Events Manager

Were looking for an experienced Events person to join an established, award-winning financial technology company based in Bath.What youll be doing

Ownership for the organization and delivery of internal and adviser-focused events.
Propose and develop new event concepts and speaker solutions as appropriate.
Produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets. Ensure all insurance. legal and health and safety obligations are adhered to.
Project manage individual event programmes, taking full ownership of budget, planning, delivery and post-event activity including feedback surveys.
Manage all event logistics including sourcing and booking venues, arranging food and drinks, managing invite lists, planning room layouts, closure and removal of events, and clearing the venue efficiently.
Creating briefing documents for event hosts and preparing event delegate packs and papers.
Create, populate and send out invitations and work with the marketing team to develop supporting materials as appropriate. Maintain appropriate existing user and prospect delegate lists.
Proactively engage with the sales team and marketing team to coordinate, communicate and optimize the uptake and impact of event activities.
Managing multiple supplier relationships and negotiating with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms.

What experience youll need to apply

Youre a team player with the ability to self-motivate, set your own schedule, meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Experience in using event management software and tools such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or Bizzabo.

Excellent relationship management skills and vendor management experience.Experience in detailed budget planning and management.

Exceptional attention to detail with clear delivery focus and excellent communication skills.
