The RUH has long recognised the strategic importance in having robust information systems and has invested heavily in its Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Cerner Millennium since its implementation in 2011. The journey to having a ‘full EPR’ (i.e. no paper within the Trust) is now within sight. To support both clinical and non-clinical staff with their training on the Electronic Patient Record and other systems, we are recruiting an experienced eLearning Developer. You will be responsible for developing effective, high quality eLearning and configuring this to run on the Trust’s LMS systems as required. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and availability of eLearning on a day to day basis. You will use Adobe Captivate, as well as other software packages, to produce eLearning that includes image manipulation software, text, animations and videos. You will also act to develop our IT Trainer/eLearning Developer post holder with their skills in eLearning development. You will enjoy a fast paced and varied working environment and be able to manage a high volume workload. You will be highly organised and an effective communicator, with eLearning development experience.Generally you will work normal office hours based at the RUH/home (split between two due to COVID-19) but flexibility will be required. For more information please email Dominique Emmanuel, Informatics Manager at
